Biodiversity
The project safeguards more than 12 species, including the collared peccary (Pecari tajacu), giant anteater (Myrmecophaga tridactyla), puma (Puma concolor), jaguar (Panthera onca), gray brocket deer (Mazama gouazoubira), lowland tapir (Tapirus terrestris), southern three-banded armadillo (Tolypeutes matacus), giant armadillo (Priodontes maximus), southern tamandua (Tamandua tetradactyla), tayra (Eira barbara), and additional reptiles and amphibians. The project’s reforestation activities aim to enhance biodiversity by increasing forest cover and connecting wildlife corridors.

The Impact Reforestation in the Chaco Project aims to offer:

- Training of local workforce;
- Technology, know-how, and best practices transfer;
- Full involvement of the local Chaco population including indigenous communities;
