Community Benefits

Entooma Sidai: A Maasai Mara Rangeland Restoration and Conservation Project will:

  • Restore perennial grasses and improve water management techniques;
  • Increase the number of healthy livestock yielding more milk and meat for improved food security and well-being;
  • Create employment opportunities in implementing and monitoring sustainable grazing management practices; and
  • Support other needs, at the communities’ discretion, like livestock vaccination and breeding programs; fodder production and storage; and improved schools, health clinics, and/or roads.
