Elizabeth is an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia pursuing majors in Environmental Sciences and Economics, as well as a minor in Global Sustainability. Through her coursework, she has developed a deeper understanding of environmental issues and solutions, studying topics such as environmental economics, ecology, climate change, carbon neutrality, and GIS.
During the past summer, she studied abroad in Sweden at Lund University’s International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics. There, she gained insight into environmental management practices and how sustainable development principles are integrated into organizations in Sweden. She also worked with her local land trust, contributing to conservation and biodiversity protection efforts.
